MADly in love

Yes its true ! I am in love... MADly in love.
With his infectious smile and disarming manner, he has taken easy-to-do-crafts into homes across the country. He loves the local kabadiwalla, and can recycle almost anything; creating robots from tyres, animals from wires and palaces from cardboard paper.
“Recycling is very important. And, art is everywhere; you don’t have to go to the nearest stationery shop to find things you need to create it. When looking for things such as plastic bottles, children learn to head outdoors; it is vital that they move away from TV and see Nature” he says.
He is the iconic TV Channel-Pogo host, Haun Robert popularly known as ROB, whose Music Art Dance.(M.A.D.) is one of the longest-running shows on any Indian children’s channel. Several times winner of ‘the best kids show’ M.A.D. stimulates young minds to learn and discover the world, through fun and exciting activities mainly encouraging children to realise their potential for hobbies and crafts outside school curriculum and academics. Rob creates beautiful art works, out of unwanted stuff, that we could never even think of reusing. He crafts them into beautiful artifacts using his innovative and varied techniques. His show is not just for the kids to see, I always have a great time watching him create magic with his creativity.
Rob came to Mumbai after studying at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad, and started working as an animator. When Rob came for the M.A.D. auditions, he walked in wearing cargo pants and a bandana. His simple, yet unconventional style, went ahead to become a trademark for MAD. Most of the time on the show, you will see Rob sporting a bandana, and a stylish beard.
When asked, what is the most endearing thing someone ever said to him?
“Well, there are so many, but this one moved me.", he says.
"A child walked up to me and told me, ‘Uncle, you paint better than God’.”
Well, One hundred percent I agree with that.. dont you ?
