Oh Rickshawale !!

As i waited for the signal to turn green, on my way to work this morning, a rickshaw carrying school children caught my attention. The rickshawalle kaka honked impatiently, as he tried to settle a quarrel, between some of the boys in the backseat. I took a good look at the rickshaw. There were atleast 10 kids stuffed in the rick. 4 in the backseat, 3 on their laps, 2 little kids crouched in the little space behind the backseat, and 1 boy shared the front seat with the rickshawlale kaka. Heavily stuffed school bags, tiffins and waterbottles, bulged from every side of the rickshaw.
Looking at that heavily loaded vehicle, a question crossed my mind. When the government doesnot allow more than 3 people to travel in a rickshaw, why is it that no one objection is being raised on ferring so many children in a autorickshaw every single day. So what if they are little kids, and they take up little space, it is absolutely unsafe and ridiculous, to ferry children in an autorickshaw stuffed to the max.
