Something in life's missing

Wonder why i am sad,
and i wonder why i am lonely
So many people around me,
but therez no one to love me.

No one to hold me close,
no one to hug me,
after a hard day at work,
no therez one to greet me.

no one to hold my hand,
no one to kiss me ,
and when i am not around,
therez no one to miss me.

no one to make me smile,
no one to tell me,
"You are the best thing that happened to me,
you mean the world to me."

I wonder if i'll ever meet someone,
who'lll say "you are the one",
who'll stand by me for ever,
for richer or for poorer,
in sickness and in health,
and love me till my last breath.
